This group has been running at St Mary’s since May 2003 and is
well established, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the setting of
our beautiful church.
The session is very much on a ‘free play’ basis, where the
children can choose from a variety of activities and crafts. There is a
separate area where babies can play safely on soft mats.
At 11am we have a biscuit and fruit and the adults have a cup of
tea or coffee. This gives us chance to come together and have a chat and offer
support and advice to each other. After this we have sing-a-long time. This
includes singing familiar nursery rhymes and some new songs. We sometimes use
puppets and visual aids.
All children welcome from new born upwards! We have sessions every Friday, 10.00 to 11.30am.
Cost is £1.50 for the first child and
£1.00 for other children.
St Mary's Tots does not run
through school holidays.
