New bathroom commercial in television

When I watch television, I always tend to avoid commercials. I cannot understand the role of them. Or I should rather say it with another words. As a student of business language, let us say that I am aware of the basic role the commercials have to play on television. I am familiar with all that theoretical stuff about mass media, and that people are easy to be manipulated thanks to television commercials and so on and so on. But I just don"t agree with that. in my opinion, public television should be free of commercials, at least the ones shown during programs they emit. Very often it happens that during an important broadcast, there is a pause for commercials. What annoys me the most is the new bathroom company commercial. It keeps on trying to explain to you that the most important thing in life is buying a new bathroom. After listening to it and hearing to the man whose voice is used in it, I cannot think of anything else than a new bathroom. I guess that is the purpose of it. whatever emotions it sets free, the purpose is the most important thing and it is accomplished. The mission is accomplished. This is the time to congratulate the producers of that commercial on television. Somebody who invented that must have been a real specialist of highest class.
