scrap gold in the Internet

The Internet is really freaking me out sometimes. It offers so much that there is no person on earth that is able to absorb this knowledge. The worst thing is actually the fact that the Internet is constantly growing and new sites, new things are uploaded daily. I wonder how humongous it is actually. I mean, if you could liken it"s size with for example, earth size - where would it be? I wonder how huge it really is. I find new things daily... Not all of those things are OK and certainly not all of those things should be uploaded there. What is more, I can bet my money on the fact that there is a similar amount of the Internet stores to the amount of real stores. You can basically buy everything through the Internet and most of the times, you can do it without any complications, without any problems. It is actually much easier to buy things through the Internet than to buy them in a normal store. You just look at the photo on the website click add to basket or something like that and you are ready to pay. However there are some websites that are strange to me. Selling or buying gold through the Internet really sounds fishy and I would never do that. Lately I even saw a plethora of websites offering buying or selling scrap gold . Who does those things, I mean, who buy scrap gold in the Internet or any other gold that is quite dangerous isn"t it?
